Potters Bar Fire Station Charity Car Wash

Roll up to Potters Bar Fire Station this Saturday for a wash and brush up

Firefighters at Potters Bar are appealing for car drivers to pull up at Potters Bar Fire Station this weekend for a clean car and a clean conscience.

Firefighters will be washing cars up and down the country for the Fire Fighters Charity's National Car Wash day (Saturday, 21stAug).

Not only will people get a sparkling car, they will also be offered fire safety advice.

The car wash will be open between 10am and 4pm and people will be asked to donate as much as they wish. Money raised will be donated to Help the Heroes and the Fire Fighters Charity, which provide a range of services that preserve the quality of life for serving and retired Fire Service personnel and their families.

"We hope that people will take the time to come along to have their car washed, with all donations received going directly to a good cause.
